Why am I so hesitant to draw?  Just when I get started, I stop. Next weekend, I will be traveling to Mass. to draw with Danny Gregory and 40 other people.  We are drawing with pen so I have been practicing.  This will be journaling, drawing with ink, and watercolor wash.  I will let you know how I do.

Still Drawing and Thoughts on Journaling

I really must get better at journaling!  I have all kinds of thoughts running through this head of mine but I just don't put it down.  Christmas is this week and I think I'm all done with presents.  I'm hoping that some of my family comes to my house but everyone is waiting to get their work schedule.  I have baking enough cookies to feed an army so whoever comes can take some home. 



 This morning I am thinking about those people and things that I am grateful for.  My Husband, my family and my health come first.  My children and Grandchildren bring my great joy!  I am grateful that I am forgiven when I fail.  I am grateful for my warm, cozy home.  to be continued.....

 These are an excercise in drawing with just a paintbrush and watercolors.  It certainly did loosen me up.  I like my little people excercise.  I have always wanted to put people in my paintings to show motion.

I have been practicing and gaining confidence.  The sea shell used to sit by the hot tub but it's inside now.  I didn't remember how pretty in pink it was.
